Worship Traditionally

Saxe Gotha congregation listening to Sunday service

The Traditional Services hare held in the Sanctuary each Sunday at 8:30am and again at 11:00am. Each service lasts approximately one hour. Our Traditional Services follow a general “Order of Worship,” including worship components like the Gloria Patri, the Apostles' Creed, the Prayer of Confession, tithes & offerings, the Lord’s Prayer and more traditional worship songs.

During our Traditional Service, there is a Sermon based on a Scripture reading and music that includes choral anthems by the adult and/or children’s and youth choirs. Traditional Hymns are sung from The Celebration Hymnal. Two of the sacraments, baptism and communion, are also celebrated during our services. Communion is generally served on the first Sunday of each month. Acolytes are present to light candles at the beginning of each Traditional Service.

For traditional worship services, park in the spaces closer to Sunset Boulevard, as they are closest to the Sanctuary at the front of our campus.
